| In that “little war” of 1950 to 1953 known as the Korean Conflict, one side was armed almost totally with American weapons. Those were the United Nations forces. By my study the only country involved on that side that provided their own arms was Great Britain. All others — Turkey, France, and so forth — provided small token combat units and it was far easier to give them American weapons than endure the supply headache that would be caused by bringing their own. ____________ share accommodation in Sydneyenvironmental monitoring | |
